In the middle of what is being called Britain's worst winter in 30 years, today we took a quick break from job-related reading and job applications to indulge in a bit of playtime in Kensington Gardens, adorned with our London-bought Wellies lined with Stockholm-bought sheepskin shoe inserts. In true man fashion, Bryan felt the need to mark his territory once we arrived at the park by destroying the one other snowman in our immediate vicinity, pillaging the carrot in the process :). it may be britain's worst winter in 30 years, but have you ever been to ukraine in the winter? (here with david for work.) it's currently a balmy 3 F, i'm huddled in our apt. with 3 layers of long johns, wool and fleece. i may need to look into these so-called Wellies lined with Stockholm-bought sheepskin shoe inserts, they sound amazing!
